International Conference - Towards Research-Based Education

Call for Papers and Guidelines

Presentation abstract requirements: English language abstracts of 300 to 400 words should be submitted in the “Submission of abstract” section of the Conference website. Those who propose to present in Lithuanian should present abstracts in both English and in Lithuanian.

Abstracts should include these elements: Title, Introduction, Methodology, Results, and 3-5 keywords. The introduction should present theoretical grounding of the research, formulate the aim or focus of the research and present a clear statement of the research problem or question. The methodology section should include the means and methods that are used and an explanation of why specific data collection and analysis instruments were used. The abstract should also describe research participants and ethical considerations. The results section describes the most important findings and summarises the essence of the study.

After the International Scientific Advisory Board reviews the abstracts, the authors will be notified by e-mail whether their topic is accepted. Abstracts will be evaluated on the basis of problem relevance and originality, scholarship, validity of methods, and adequate grounding of results.

All registered participants will receive a certificate of participation, a conference programme that will include presentation abstracts, and other conference materials.

Note for presenters: Abstracts will only be published in the Conference Program if the author has confirmed participation, registered, and paid registration fees by September 30, 2017. Only registered participants will be considered for publication in the Conference Proceedings.
