Call for Papers and Guidelines

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PRESENTATIONS

1. Oral presentations. The length of a presentation at the plenary session is 20 minutes, and in a workshop (oral, poster, virtual) – 15 minutes. Presentations can be delivered in Lithuanian and English.

2. Poster presentations.

A poster presentation should contain the following obligatory parts: title, information about the author (name, surname; affiliation; contact details (e-mail)), definition of the problem, research methodology, obtained results and conclusions, list of references.

The format of a poster presentation should not exceed A1 (594×841) in portrait page orientation.

The text must be clear, legible and visible from the distance of 2-3 meters (the title should be of not less than 30-40 pt, the text – not less than 20 pt);

Visual information (tables, pictures, photos, etc) is more preferable to textual information.

A poster presentation can be designed in Lithuanian or English.

3.Virtual presentations. The maximum size of a virtual presentation is 2 GB, the length – 15 min. in video format (.avi, .mpeg, .mov). Unvoiced Powerpoint presentations are not accepted. A virtual presentation can be prepared in Lithuanian and English.

 

Certificates of attendance will be issued to conference participants and listeners.

 

Articles prepared on the grounds of scientific presentations in compliance with the requirements, following a peer-review, are intended to be published in the scientific journal Pedagogika, which has been referred in the following data bases since 2004: Central and Eastern European Online Library (C.E.E.O.L.); Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ); Education Research Complete (EBSCO Publishing); Index Copernicus; Modern Language Association International Bibliography (MLA); SCOPUS. In order to compile the publication, please present the articles following the requirements of the scientific journal Pedagogika (accessible at < http://www.pedagogika.leu.lt/index.php/Pedagogika > ).
