International Conference - Dance Education: Tendencies and Prospects
 

Call for Papers and Guidelines

We invite researchers and practitioners to participate in the conference and submitt a presentation proposal. Also everyone is very welcome to attend conference without presentation.

FORMS OF CONFERENCE ORGANIZATION

Plenary session, working sessions, oral presentations, poster presentations, seminars, workshops, open classes. Time for oral presentations including discussions is up to 30 min. Time for seminars, workshops and open classes up to 60 min.

Manuscripts for publication should be submitted no later than 1 August, 2014 by email: dance.edu@leu.lt

 

PUBLICATION

The manuscripts (up to 7–8 pages) in Englishwhich meet academic requirements will be internationally peer reviewed and considered for publication in “Collection of Scientific Articles”.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANUSCRIPT

At the beginning of the manuscript the following should be mentioned: author's name, surname (12 pt, Bold, All Caps), institution that submits the paper, country (12 pt Normal), title of the manuscript (14 pt Bold, All Caps).

Short summary: in English up to 1500 characters (12 pt, Italic).

Body of the manuscript: introduction, aim, materials and methods of the work, results, conclusions (12 pt, Normal) and references (the list of literature) (10 pt, Normal).

At the end of the manuscript the following should be mentioned: author's academic position, scientific degree, name, surname, institution, personal address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address (10 pt, Normal).

Requirements for the organisation of the manuscript: The manuscript should not exceed 8 pages including the list of literature and summary in English up to 1500 characters. The manuscript should be typewritten in A4 format, set in one column according to the following parameters: margins- 2.5 cm, text editor- Word, Times New Roman, font number 12, spaces between lines- 1. Each paragraph should start with a 1.5 cm indention. Tables and pictures should be numbered. Tables and pictures should be in black and white with captions in English. They must be cited in the text; Arabic numbering should be used. The size of tables and pictures should not exceed A4 format page.

References should be indicated in the typescript by giving the author's name, with the year of publication in parentheses, e.g., (Bamberger, 1991).

The References should be listed in full at the end of the paper in the order of Latin alphabet, followed by literature in Cyrillic alphabet. The list of literature should precisely follow the form depicted in the sample.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Report should be prepared on a large sheet of paper. The main text should be presented on separate sheets of A4 paper (font size no smaller than 18 pt). The text should report the name of the author(s), organization that represents the author(s), study (referred subject, purpose, objectives, methods and main results) or methodical materials (lesson plans, description of tasks, projects, etc.). To iliustrate the text photos, diagrams, tables, other needed visual material should be presented. Conference organizers take care of the poster space (booth / table / wall).
